Students can choose from a wide range of programs in hospitality management, event management, or spa and resort management, with particular emphasis on practical skills.
SHMS has two campuses in Switzerland. The Caux campus is a former hotel palace built in 1902, designed at the time as one of the largest, most advanced, and most luxurious hotels ever conceived. This palace has welcomed notable figures such as author Rudyard Kipling, the future King of Saudi Arabia Prince Ibn Saud, and the Kellogg and Gillette families. Having become the headquarters of SHMS in 1994, it has since been the primary site for developing leaders in the global hospitality industry. The Leysin campus followed in 2004.
Practical and academic courses are taught by a faculty composed of industry leaders and professionals, providing students with a unique learning environment. SHMS is a member of the Swiss Education Group.
